We are The Gap Project team
Who we are?
We are the Gap Project team. We live and work in the UK as well as in the USA.
What we are aiming to achieve?
We fill the gap by communication as in our daily life, communication helps us to build relationships by allowing us to share our experiences and needs. We believe that communication is the essence of life, allowing us to express feelings, pass on information and share our thoughts.
We are a well expert team and educated in the UK. We live in the UK and were in touch with the community so we know the right approach and the professional methods of help.
We aim to fulfil the requirements of all refugees arriving in the UK from Afghanistan by connecting them to the right people in the right places. We have identified what their needs are upon arrival and have reached out to our Afghan community in the UK in order to put together a holistic approach in providing support to them. We speak to them in their own dialects; Dari, Pashto and Uzbek.
Our extensive range of services include digital media and e-commerce training sessions by highly qualified experts as well as online English, Dari, Pashto, and Uzbek classes.
Further services include employment workshops, family support in relation to their physical & mental health, impartial legal advice regarding social services, their legal rights and issues around children education. We supply them with a wide range of information about living in the UK, specifically how to be well integrated. We provide them with male and female translators/interpreters when they required whether it is a GP or hospitals appointment, a parents evening at school or when they visit their local authorities.
